Sibling Rivalry: The Magic Trick That Stops It Instantly
Sibling Rivalry: The Magic Trick That Stops It Instantly
Author: Stephanie Gallagher
It’s a familiar scene: Kids screaming at each other,
complaining that, “He got a bigger piece of pie,” or “She
got to stay up an hour later last night.”
When sibling rivalry rears its ugly head, what do you do?
Try to reason with the kids? Scream, threaten or punish
them? Ignore it and run for cover?
None of these methods is very effective for very long.

A Dream of the Perfect Partner
A Dream of the Perfect Partner
Author: George Lockett
Your dream is so beautiful and it is never to late to happen. What I would say is keep your dream close to your heart and visualise fully what it would feel like for your dream to come true and your perfect partner stepped into your life. Spend a little time now just going back to your dream remember the rose petals and smell their essence in the air. Hear the waves crashing on the beach and feel the sea air on your face.

Sweeten Up Your Life
Author: Sulana Stone
Sometimes life experiences can be like a lemon-flavored Tootsie Roll Pop. Hard and sour on the outside. Soft and sweet on the inside. Take getting dumped in a relationship for instance. Facing life alone can be tough for many people. Yet, there are behind-the-scenes benefits to every predicament! There’s even a sweet treat hidden within the experience of losing a lover.
You can find the “pop”-the sweetness-inside your tart tootsie roll by looking behind the surface appearance of your situation. Ask yourself some probing questions: “What’s been the beneficial effect of my predicament?” “What did I learn that helped me become a better person?” and “What good eventually came out of the situation?”

Diabetes and Glyconutrients
Diabetes and Glyconutrients
Author: Jason Carriere
Today, most people with diabetes are only treating the symptoms. And many medications given to people with diabetes are actually
compounding the underlying cause of the disease.
The best way to manage your diabetic condition is to address the
actual cause. Doesn’t that make more sense? So let’s look at what
type 2 diabetes really is.
The Simple Explanation
Other than the genes you inherited, there are two primary causes of diabetes:
1) a long-term diet that has been high in carbohydrates, and
2) nutritional deficiencies.

Treatment for High Blood Pressure
Treatment for High Blood Pressure
Author: Dr Gordon Cameron
The treatment of high blood pressure is one of the most important areas of modern medicine. Good quality care and blood pressure treatment can reduce the risk of death, the risk of stroke and the risk of heart attack or coronary disease. The British Hypertension Society produced guidelines in 2004. This is what they recommend.
Blood Pressure Measurement
All adults should have a blood pressure measurement at least once every five years up to the age of 80 - and more often thereafter.

WHAT ARE BRAINWAVES?
Every moment of your life your brain is active. It is pulsing
with electrical impulses; you heard that right, electricity! The
electricity or electrical current generated by the brain can be
measured with an electroencephalogram (EEG), which measures the
frequency of the electrical current. This frequency or speed of
the brainwave is measured in Hertz(HZ).

Fiber in a Nutshell?
Fiber in a Nutshell?

There are numerous diets out there that guarantee that they are the ones that will work. We all know who and what they are. There is the no carb, low carb, carb and low fat, grapefruit, and soup diets, to name a few. While I believe that each of these diets can work for certain individuals in the short term, research shows that crash diets don’t work. Over the long term, these diets are not sustainable. After returning to normal eating patterns the average person not only gains the weight back but often put on a few pounds more than their original weight.

Parental Involvement in Learning
Parental Involvement in Learning

Whether children attend public or private schools, they benefit when parents become involved in their education. According to the National Institute for Literacy, when parents or other family members frequently read to children entering kindergarten, those children were at a distinct advantage over children whose families read to them less often.
The Early Childhood Longitudinal Study found that “Children who were read to at least three times a week by a family member were almost twice as likely to score in the top 25 percent in reading than children who were read to less than three times a week.” The study also found that, of children who were read to at least three times a week,

Romancing The Senses
Romancing The Senses
Author: Rich Gray
Romance can be experienced in numerous ways, but it is best enjoyed when you get all your senses in on the action. The following are suggestions for getting the most out of romance, one sense at a time.
Sight
Lighting should be one of the first areas you look at when trying to establish a romantic mood. Candlelight is perfect for romantic ambiance, as is the light from a fireplace. You could also try warm, soft light bulbs, preferably of a low-wattage or pleasing color.

Get Out Those Legos

Many of my clients are working harder than smarter. This is not a put-down of their intelligence. It is a statement about the conventions of the way most of us live and work. Without a concerted effort to step back and take an objective look at how we function day in and day out, we find ourselves subject to old ways of doing things without periodic checkups to see if they are working.
