Looking into statistics, we can see the average American consumes an astounding 2-3 pounds of sugar each week. This might surprise you if not considering that highly refined sugars in the forms of sucrose (table sugar), dextrose (corn sugar), and high-fructose corn syrup are being processed into so many foods such as bread, breakfast cereal, mayonnaise, peanut butter, ketchup, spaghetti sauce, and a plethora of microwave meals.

1. Water. If you’re thirsty you’re already dehydrated. The majority of us don’t tend to drink enough during the day. If you drink a lot of tea and coffee to keep you going then these have a diuretic effect so you should be drinking water to compensate.
Have a glass of water first thing in the morning and last thing at night - your body loses a lot of water while you’re asleep - not only if it’s warm and you sweat a lot but just going 8 hours (if you’re so lucky) without food or drink it’s going to be dehydrated.

It is amazing how many people, diabetics included, who have no idea what dangers a diabetic faces over their lifetime. A diabetic, all things being equal, lives almost 10 years less than their non-diabetic counterpart on average.

Gas Prices and My Bicycle
By Mike Burright
With a Family as large as mine is the rise in gas price was felt hard. One car and 4 kids makes for a lot of time on the road. I came to the conclusion that at $80 every 3 days to fill my now aging minivan it was time to supplement my driving.

Spouse Improvement: Influence Your Partner to Change in Just 7 Steps
Spouse Improvement: Influence Your Partner to Change in Just 7 Steps
Everyone has something they’d like to change in their partner. Here is a 7-step process to create a change in your partner. The key to the success of this process is that it makes your partner want to change - instead of feeling coerced.
1. MAKE A LIST of the top three behaviors your partner does that annoy you. For example, leaves messes around house, pouts, doesn’t do their share of household tasks. Then select the one problem that has the best chance of your partner responding to your discomfort. You’ll increase your chances for success dramatically by focusing on one problem at a time. Let’s go for a big one here and say the problem is that your partner is not involved in household chores.
